Earn rewards playing games

How rewarded game offers work, why publishers pay for new players, how to pick games worth finishing, and the rules that decide whether a level pays.

Why a game would pay you

Most mobile games are free to download and earn their money later, from adverts and from the small share of players who buy things in the app. That makes a new player who keeps playing valuable, and publishers spend heavily to find them. Some of that budget goes to rewards sites: the publisher pays when a new player reaches a milestone, such as level 10 or a certain building, and the site shares the payment with the player. On TritonPass that share arrives as points on your card.

What a game offer looks like

Each game on your pass lists its milestones and the points for each. A typical offer has three to six: an early one you can reach in an evening, a few in the middle, and a last one that takes days or weeks of steady play. The later milestones pay the most because they mean you stayed. The offer also says how many days you have from the install.

Picking games worth finishing

  • Choose a genre you already enjoy. You will play a puzzle game you like for two weeks; you will drop a strategy game you find tedious after two days.
  • Look at the time allowed against the last milestone. Thirty days to reach a mid-game level is comfortable; seven days for the same level means hours a day.
  • Count the early milestones. An offer whose first step pays well is a cheap way to find out whether you like the game.
  • Read the offer for purchases. A milestone only needs an in-app purchase if the offer says so. You can skip that step and still earn the others.

The rules that decide whether a level pays

The publisher, not TritonPass, confirms each milestone, and publishers are strict:

  1. Install from the Start button. It tells the publisher the install came from TritonPass. An install from a search in the app store is not tracked.
  2. Be a new player. If you installed the game before, even years ago or on another account, the publisher will usually not count you.
  3. Use your own phone, without a VPN. Emulators, VPNs and devices shared between accounts fail fraud checks.
  4. Keep the game installed while you play. Deleting and reinstalling can reset tracking.

Milestones usually confirm within a few hours. If one has not after 72 hours, email support with the game and the milestone; we can see your click and chase the partner.

What to expect

Game offers can pay more than a survey for the same time, mostly at the later milestones, but nothing is guaranteed: it depends on which games are running and how far you get. Treat the points as a bonus for time you would spend on your phone anyway. Points become redeemable 14 days after each milestone, and from 5,000 points (worth $5) you can take PayPal cash, gift cards including Steam, or crypto.
